THANKFUL // DAYS 16-20

If you want to catch up.. Days 1-5, Days 6-10, & Days 11-15.

Day 16) Mornings with Jack

This little bug is so happy in the morning. Since I am NOT a morning person, his sunshine face makes getting up so much better. We tend to lay in bed too long while watching Elmo… which is just fine with me. 🙂

Day 17) My Clients

I’m super thankful that I have such awesome clients to design for. It seems like the more excited I am about a project, the more happy my client is. And the more work I show that I’m in love with, the more I attract clients who I click with. These past couple years, I have completely clicked with all my clients. That’s the best feeling… and leaves the best result!

Day 18) Creation

Are you ever just struck by how beautiful the sky is or how amazing the clouds are? It was no accident. Thankful we get to experience a little piece of heaven on earth.

“Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. ” – Romans 1:20 (The Message)

Day 19) My Dad

The 19th was my Dad’s birthday and here’s what he said to me..

“I may be close to 60 but you are halfway there.”

Today I’m thankful for his humor, ability to roll with the punches, wisdom, level-headedness, humility, and all around love-ability! I feel blessed to be his daughter!

Day 20) My Rocker

I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve sat in that rocker with Jack. A wide-awake Jack. Squirmy Jack. Sick Jack. Exhausted Jack. Funny Jack. And just last night CRAZY Jack. But I am so thankful for those times. Those are the times I’ll remember. I’ll remember him fighting sleep and then giving in. I’ll remember singing to him but him requesting a different song. I’ll remember the sweet moments of him touching my forehead with his and locking eyes. And I’ll remember him pointing to that rocker for just one last rock for the night. Okay Jack, just one more.
