When I posted Jack’s Nursery last week, I forgot to post the “before” picture! And everyone loves a good before and after so here it is. This was taken before the old owners moved out and was one of the realty photos. You can see from the picture the carpet was a grayish-blue and so were the walls. The woodwork including the window trim, baseboard, closet doors, and door trim were all dark wood. We painted all the trim white, replaced the baseboard and doors, painted the walls Tobacco Leaf by Martha Stewart, installed new carpeting, and of course put the barn-wood wall up. Lots of work but so worth it!
Can’t wait to show you other rooms in our house!
I didn’t comment on your last post yet but oh my goodness, you guys did an AMAZING job on Jack’s nursery! it looks beyond gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of the house!
Thank you Kimmie! 🙂
The room is stunning, Kelly! I love it. Aren’t nurseries the best to decorate?!
[…] A reader recently emailed and asked to see an updated photo of the exterior of our house. (See bigger image here.) You might remember this post I did right after we bought it. It’s been 3 years since we moved in and have done countless projects and DIYs on the outside AND inside. You can see some of those here, here, and here. […]
Hi! Where did you get the ABC wall art with animals in it? Would love to get one! Thank you.
