Sometimes I have moments where I think whoa we are like a REAL family now. With a baby and all. A little family that has a Mom and a Dad, a baby, and a doggie.
But being a family doesn’t just mean you have all the parts. The parts have to function properly. Recently while praying, I realized that my biggest testimony to Jack besides my relationship with the Lord is my relationship with his Dad. If I want Jack to grow up to be kind, wise, faithful, and patient, then I need to be all those things to D. I hear kids watch you like a hawk and then imitate everything you do (how extremely terrifying!). Ever the more reason to invest more in our friendship and marriage. By the grace of God, out of that investment will come a child that demonstrates his love of God to others. That is my prayer.
You are headed in the right direction, just with that realization. You seem like a wonderful mother!
I wake up every morning with these exact same thoughts!

Thanks girls!

You ARE a family!!! A Beautiful one too!!
