I love this room. It was one of those rooms that got all the leftover stuff and then I hodgepodged it together into what it is now. I think that’s what I love about it. I didn’t really have a budget to work with (meaning very little money!) so the only new stuff I bought was the wall paint and the yellow quilt. Everything else I already had from other rooms. (here and here)
The reason I’m sharing it now is because it’s no longer going to be the guest room… we are turning it into… dun dun dun…. a little boy’s nursery :). Which means EVERYTHING is going to change. Luckily this room got some good use because this past month my sister was home from college and she stayed in here. Now Jack calls it “Abby’s room”… so cute. So sorry to say Abby, your room is now going to be fully BOY.
Of course I never completely got this room DONE – never got window coverings, never got a rug, never got new knobs for the nightstand, etc, etc. But I’m learning if I wait to show a room until I think it’s done, I’ll never show it haha. Homes are like that, aren’t they? Never fully done, always evolving. Ah well, here is our guest bedroom/Abby’s room/soon-to-be nursery…. I promise I’ll show the madeover nursery when it’s “done”. 🙂
