I’ve always loved silhouette art and thought it would be cool to do my own for this blog series. Do you think it looks like us?
It was pretty fun to do.. I took pictures of our profiles backlit last night and then cut out the background in photoshop. Then I bought it into illustrator and made it vector art to clean up some of the edges. I think D’s is cooler than mine but I’d still love to frame these. I’ll have to do one for Jack too. Well if he’ll stay still long enough!

That is crazy that you posted this!! I’ve been thinking that I’d like to do one of Bennett and then more as he grows!! The thought comes to me nearly every night when I’m nursing, actually when I’m burping him and staring at his sweet profile!! Let me know how it goes with Jack! Perhaps I could send you a photo of Bennett!!??

Oh, it definitely looks like you two, but I agree- your husband’s silhouette looks a little more like him than yours does. I think you have a cuter nose than the already adorable nose on your silhouette. Do you think you will print it and put it somewhere in the house?
Sara – yes I definitely want to print and frame them! I’m thinking they would look cool on my chalkboard wall in my studio.
