Does this cutie look familiar? He’s my nephew, William. A couple nights ago I snapped these photos of him in Pine Island, MN. Man it’s HARD work to take photos of a 4-year old! Props to all those child portrait photographers out there! A couple musts I learned all from this session:
1) INCENTIVES – seriously cupcakes, candy, and donuts go a long way. You will see what I mean at the end of the post 😉
2) Pretend your going on an adventure. This particular adventure included ghosts, climbing trees, and throwing junk at imaginary people (who knows)
3) Talk the 4-year-old talk. This is hard. I have no tips besides act like a fool. They will love it.
Enjoy!
Kelly this are precious! You did a fabulous job with him. I have a 4 year old nephew named William too! This makes me want to go and attempt to take some cute little pictures of him.
Your nephew is adorable! And yeah, they sure have a mind of their own at 4 🙂
Kelly, So cute! As always, wonderful work! I love the donut ones! I must have been “channeling” you today… I blogged about a boy too. haha. xoxo
Great shots! and smart to offer treats – anything with rainbow sprinkles will work!
The photo of him eating the donut was my favorite! so cute!
