SHADOW | boxes

I got the idea to make these shadow boxes from Anthropologie. I wanted some pretty boxes to display various projects I’ve done. It was fun to do and really easy.

I first bought 3 different thrifted frames and my husband helped me make the actual boxes. I then painted them with a base color and then went over it with a lighter color and antiquing medium. I then took some sandpaper to it to give it a distressed look. Lastly I covered the inside with craft paper and attached some hinges. What do you think? Do you like them?
