I was going to post something about the new year but I realized I never shared anything from our Christmas. It was so much fun with Jack this year. He really understood the “opening presents” concept and he was of course very focused and intentional opening each one! I think his favorite gift was a train track from Nano and Bumba (grandma and grandpa). After opening gifts, Jack and D went outside to shovel all the new snow while my sister and I baked homemade crescent rolls, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash quinoa. The rest of the day was spent at my parent’s house, eating, opening MORE presents, and relaxing. So much to be grateful for. Hope everyone got to enjoy and reflect on their Christmases!
“An angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11
