I discovered the perfect item of clothing for pregnant women… ponchos! The problem comes when you try to put on a coat.. over the poncho… over the bump. And then you just look like a hot mess. I briefly thought about wearing my coat under my poncho but let’s be real – I’m not trying to look like Harry Potter. Conclusion: If you wear a poncho and you are pregnant – go sans the coat 🙂

I love fashion friday! I used to be against ponchos, but that is sooo cute I want one now!
That poncho is awesome! Here is some useful info: ponchos are even better for breastfeeding!!! It covers the baby, giving you both some privacy in public. But it also is easy and breathable and the neck hole is usually large enough that you can peek in to see if baby is doing okay without having to lift up the poncho. Something to keep in mind if you plan on breastfeeding and it all works out for you! Good luck with everything!
You styled that poncho beautifully. There are definitely some things that pregnant women can wear that regular folks can’t (it’s all about the belly). Case in point, overalls. I can’t understand why normal people wear them, but on pregnant ladies they are cute! Anything to accentuate that growing baby! 🙂
