Sorry I’ve been a bad blogger lately! I’ve been soo busy with work, freelance, and a new adventure – looking for houses! So as you can imagine that has left little time for blogging 🙁 Hopefully I’ll do better in the next couple weeks. In the meantime, a little baby update! Thinking that I only have 18 weeks or less to go, is sort of freaking me out! haha I know that’s a lot of time, but I literally have bought nothing but some outfits. (Do boys wear outfits?? haha) I’m officially overwhelmed. I mean just picking a travel system seems very complicated! And all the other baby products on the market are making me very confused.. like these and this. Do I need really these things??
I’ve been feeling pretty good besides a lot of tossing and turning at night and stuffed up sinuses. Randomly I will get sick but it’s not often. I haven’t had any weird cravings but I’m very much looking forward to the Thanksgiving feast!
The baby wipe warmer IS a good idea. Those “cold” room temp wipes normally make newborns cry and pull away. They tend not to like being undressed. The warm wipes keep their bear tushies warm!
Boys absolutely wear “outfits”! And they can wear shirts with HILARIOUS sayings on them. You are a super cute pregnant lady. 🙂
you are so beautiful ,i’m sure you’ll be a great mum .
i am a mother too ,i have a boy -11 years old ,and a daughter -9 years old .
when they were babies they were pretty much the same ,the differences are coming later through the years.
i think in the beginning they are just babies ..it doesn’t matter boy or girl
@}-;
i rarely put my son in an “outfit” unless i am leaving the house. especially at the early months, its pjs, onesies and sweat pants – because they need changed alot. and the pee through things alot. so i saved my outfits for outings!
warmer – good idea, like someone else said, they don’t like being cold. my son is 8 months and finally doesn’t care if they are warm or not, but as a newborn … he liked it warm.
pacifiers – someone got me one like your link and my son really didn’t care for the paci part, he loved the animal so it became a “car” toy. we bought regular pacifies that he took to better. but still doesn’t care much for. he likes his finger … not his thumb … his finger. ha
your doing good! i didn’t buy ANYTHING until a month before he came … then i freaked out and realized i was WAY behind!! just make sure you have diapers, wipes, burp cloths, lots and lots of burp cloths!!!! everything else will just kinda come (most from your shower too)
haha I didn’t even know there was a such thing as a wipe warmer! My kiddos seemed to have survived without it…so I don’t think it’s too necessary! 🙂
just 2 say i have been on your website but had nothing to really 2 say SORRY!! AHHHH sams playing his trumpet while im typing its loud and annoying i hope that your doing ok and i shall see you on thankgiving.
i am 20 weeks along with my first pregnancy and i have to say i have the same sort of overwhelmed feelings you are having. i am totally confused about what is necessary and which items to pick out of the sea of items. i’m thinking it will all come together in the end so i’m trying not to let it stress me out. someone recently told me babies just need lots of love and diapers 🙂 happy hunting on the perfect items for your baby boy.
My sister had a wipe warmer, she said it dried the wipes right out. We did cloth, so a little warm water on the wash cloth was always nice for his little bum. Theo got a Rhino-pacifier thing for a gift, he loved it. But your baby might not like pacifiers, so you just never know. No need to get over whelmed with all the prep. Baby’s don’t need much more than clothes and diapers at the beginning anyways. And baby showers really help with supplying you with the ‘little’ essentials that you might not have thought of. You are glowing in your pictures, it’s been fun to watch you through this time in your life – it consumes your every thought, doesn’t it?
